2. Description of Service
MovieWatcher provides a personal movie tracking and discovery service: watchlists, watched history, ratings, recommendations, and related features. Movie data is sourced from third-party providers (e.g. TMDB). We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of external data.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account (e.g. Google sign-in). You must provide accurate information and comply with these terms and any applicable laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service for illegal purposes, to harm others, or to abuse or overload our systems. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
MovieWatcher and its branding are our property. Movie images and metadata are used under license from third parties (e.g. TMDB) and remain their property. You may not copy or misuse our service or content except as allowed by the app.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any).
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
